Chalmers Day is an accomplished Hopi silversmith who learned his trade from the renowned Hopi smith Preston Monongye. Chalmers is known for his intensely detailed overlay work in which he sometimes sets cut stones or stone inlay. He has won numerous awards at Indian Market in Santa Fe. His work is represented in the personal collection of Dr. Gregory Schaaf who wrote American Indian Jewelry I: 1,200 Artist Biographies. He hallmarks with a cloud design.

Joe Eby is an Anglo silversmith and native New Mexican who makes traditional Navajo-style jewelry. He is an excellent craftsman and specializes in making pins of insects using many component parts with detailed exactitude. His hallmark is a spider with an "E" stamped on the abdomen (as shown).
