This is a stunning piece of work by Raymond Betsoi; 8 ovals and 7 rounds of natural, untreated Kingman turquoise set in a row. This untreated turquoise will continue to evolve in color and different stones will change color at different rates and in different ways. If you've seen dead pawn versions of old needlepoint bracelets (because this is an old, traditional style) you've noticed that they exhibit several shades of blue and green).
The band of the cuff is 3/16" wide. Along the edges of the cuff, both above and below the stone sets, Raymond added a series of raindrops flattened to "nailheads" (7 along each edge). This is a wonderfully authentic rendition of a very old-style bracelet and is masterfully crafted. Raymond added a nice patina to the cuff to finish off this classic masterpiece.
