Ramona Bird is the daughter of Josephine Coriz, who taught Ramona how to make this style of necklace. Josephine has passed on this design to her daughter and no longer makes these necklaces (though she still makes fine heishi necklaces consisting solely of Kingman turquoise heishi). This is 1.5 mm. diameter heishi and is handmade from white clam shell and Kingman turquoise. The necklace consists of ten strands of heishi finished off with Sterling cones and a Sterling extension chain. Matching earrings accompany this choker-length necklace. This heishi is delicately gorgeous and strung perfectly for the right hang.
