Ramona Bird is the daughter of Josephine Coriz, who originally made this style of necklace. Josephine has passed on this design to her daughter and no longer makes these necklaces (though she still sometimes makes the earrings which match these necklaces). This is 1.5 mm. diameter heishi and is handmade from baby olive shell and white clam. While Ramona usually makes these necklaces solely with olive shell heishi, this one utilizes white clam shell heishi for the snowy white polka dots mixed in the strands of heishi made from the darkest part of the baby olive shell. The necklace consists of ten strands of heishi finished off with Sterling cones and a Sterling extension chain. This heishi is delicately gorgeous and strung perfectly for the right hang.
