Michael Thompson was a new silversmith among the Chacodog collection as of June 2009. His work is impeccably clean and defined by his deep stampwork laid in perfect symmetry. He also does fine saw and file work. His quality of work is the heart and soul of fine Navajo smithing.
This impeccably designed and executed ring has a saw and filework border surrounding the rich blue stone of natural, untreated Tibetan turquoise. This is a split shank design with the main shank splitting into six narrower bands before attaching to the ring back. This makes the ring very comfortable while adding a nice stylistic element. We've had a lot of requests for really large rings and this is one that pairs the quality and workmanship we require with the request for a big size.
