Michael Thompson's work was first added to the Chacodog collection in June 2009. His work is impeccably clean and defined by his deep stampwork laid in perfect symmetry. He also does fine saw and file work. His quality of work is the heart and soul of fine Navajo smithing.
This is a classic Navajo concha pin made in the most traditional style. It is set with a free-form stone of natural, untreated Kingman turquoise in a smooth bezel. Beautifully executed with repoussée motifs, such work is never available in sufficient supply.
Hallmarked MT and stamped Sterling on back.
