Born in 1970, Lee Begay is the older brother of award-winning Navajo sandcast jewelry artist Darryl Dean Begay. He's learned his craft from his brother Darryl Dean and is now thriving as a silversmith specializing in sandcast jewelry.
This sandcast pendant features a classic image of Anasazi rock art from the Southwest. Lee set a rectangle of natural, untreated Pilot Mountain turquoise as the face in the horned head topped by a feather. Beautifully carved with classic, traditional imagery. This has a shepherd's hook on back. We include a leather cord with this.
Signed on back LEE B and marked 13 for 2013 and SS for Sterling Silver.
