This is classic, traditional stampwork on an oval buckle made for a narrower 1" belt. Standard western belts are 1 1/2" wide. I get a lot of requests from women for fine traditional work in a buckle made for a narrower belt. Men who wear these most often are using them for one-inch belts that slide through the narrow loops of their suit pants.
