Harrison Jim Kingman Turquoise Sterling Ingot Ring size 10 3/4

Not quite forty years old, Harrison Jim is an accomplished silversmith who works in many styles but favors the classic designs best described as Navajo Traditional Revival. His work is done in the old-fashioned way by melting silver, rolling it out and hammering it to form his pieces. His work is very often decorated by free-hand cold chisel work, a technique more common to an earlier era of Navajo smithing which requires great practice and skill.

This ring is set with a soft-cornered triangle of natural, untreated Kingman turquoise in a handmade, notched bezel. Grooves radiate from the stone like rays of light. The shank tapers gently to a slightly narrower width at the back of the shank.

This piece is not hallmarked, but is obviously the work of Harrison Jim as evidenced by the style and workmanship.

Stone: 1/2" x 3/8"

Width of shank in front: 9/16"

Width of shank in back: 1/4"

Size 10 3/4
