Harrison Jim is an accomplished silversmith who works in many styles but favors the classic designs best described as Navajo Traditional Revival. His work is done in the old-fashioned way by melting silver and hammering it out to form his pieces.
This design is a superb example of free-hand stampwork and cold chisel used to cut notched grooves. Note the roped edge effect created through the illusion of the dye stamp. This natural, untreated stone of Kingman Black Matrix turquoise is set in a handmade bezel. The band gently tapers towards the back of the shank. Classic!
