Geneva Apachito is a Navajo silversmith in her early thirties. She learned to smith silver from her mother, Genevieve. Her life-partner, Barbie Monte, is also a silversmith.
The starred post buttons are made from domed sheet silver, so they are relatively light. The free-swinging drops are set with purple spiny oyster wrapped with twist wire. The earring backs for the posts are rubberized plastic with the firm gripping metal center.
Hallmarked Geneva G.A. in script and stamped "Sterling" on the back of the drop.
