Geneva Apachito is a Navajo silversmith in her early thirties. She learned to smith silver from her mother, Genevieve. Her life-partner, Barbie Monte, is also a silversmith.
We've bought this style earring from a few different people. Derrick Gordon made the first ones we ever bought. With starred
repoussée buttons mounted on the posts and free-swinging beautifully matched stones, these are classic beauties. The stone is natural, untreated Chinese turquoise which is heavily webbed with black matrix. The stones are set in straight-edged bezels wrapped with twist wire.
Hallmarked Geneva G.A. in script and stamped "Sterling" on the back of the drop.
Stones: (2) 1 1/4" x 5/8"
Starred buttons: 7/16" diameter
