This ring made by Navajo smith Fred Charley features a very thick oval of natural, untreated Fox turquoise from Nevada. The stone is set in a straight-edged bezel wrapped with twist wire. The border of the ring face is sculpted and shows beautiful saw work and file work. The shank is made from heavy-gauge Sterling and shows deep, traditional stampwork on the tapered sides of the shank. Fred is a new silversmith represented among our collection, but more of his work is on the way.
