We first offered Emerson Bill's work on our website in 2004. Since then, we have also added jewelry by his silversmithing wife Nora Tahe Bill and their two children Elvira Bill and Jerald Tahe. The family makes Traditional Revival jewelry that is true to the roots of Navajo silversmithing.
This rectangular belt buckle is beautifully decorated with stampwork and repoussée shapes which form a nicely symmetrical traditional design. Emerson finished this buckle by using an oxidizing agent to give it an old-time patina.
Hallmarked Emerson and stamped Sterling on back.
