Elvira Bill is the daughter of Emerson Bill and Nora Tahe Bill. She is also the sister of Jerald Tahe. Like Jerald, she learned to smith silver from her parents and makes bracelets in the same style as her parents. Some of her bracelets are made from a single thickness of sheet silver and stamped very deeply, while others are made from two layers of sheet silver and the design is cut out of the overlayer which is soldered to the foundational layer of silver.
To describe this bracelet as hefty and indestructible is to engage in understatement. This is thick and has deep, beautifully textured stampwork. Because this is so hefty, it will need to fit you right; you can't wear this sturdy a bracelet unless the fit is right. Your wrist should measure 7 3/8" or 7 1/2" and if this is your size, it will fit like a glove and will never feel heavy in wearing it. A gorgeous piece of work!
