Donovan Cadman is the brother of renowned smiths Darrel and Andy Cadman. Though wholly accomplished in his own right as a silversmith, he only smiths silver on a part-time basis and his pieces, therefore, are not always available.

This is a perfect little oval box with a domed, tight-fitting lid and set with an oval of vivid orange spiny oyster showing wispy striations. The stampwork is deep, precise and classic. Four starred buttons form feet on the bottom of the box and the scallop-edged lid has just the right amount of overhang. Put something small and valuable in this, or simply admire its beauty--better yet, do both!

Hallmarked "D. Cadman" in script and stamped "Sterling" on the bottom.
