Derrick Gordon Turquoise Mountain Turquoise Ring size 8

Born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1971, Derrick Gordon is a prolific young silversmith who is the father of three daughters (the youngest born earlier in 2003). He learned to smith silver from his uncle Delbert Gordon. He is accomplished in many aspects of the trade and makes fine rings, bracelets, earrings, pins, pendants and more.

This pretty oval of natural, untreated Turquoise Mountain turquoise from Arizona is set in a straight-edged bezel wrapped with twist wire. A beautifully sculpted border offers a nice frame of scrollwork and raindrops as decorative complements to this premium Nevada turquoise. The ring's shank splits into three narrower bands which are spread before attaching to the ring back. A very attractive and comfortable example of Navajo Traditional Revival work by a very good smith.

Stamped "Sterling" and hallmarked "Derrick" on the inside of the shank.

Stone: 3/4" x 7/16"

Ring face: 1 3/16" x 7/8"

Width of shank in back: 3/16"

Size 8
