Born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1971, Derrick Gordon is a prolific young silversmith who is the father of three daughters (the youngest born in early 2003). He learned to smith silver from his uncle Delbert Gordon whose work is also shown on our site.

This uniform-width, slimline bracelet is made with heavy 12-gauge Sterling and set with an oval of natural Mediterranean red coral. The rich crimson coral is framed by small raindrops, vertical bars of twisted square wire, starred buttons and fanned scallop appliquées. Grooved stampwork highlights the edges of the cuff, while a series of overlaid scallop stamps mark the equatorial center of the cuff to the terminals.

Hallmarked "Derrick" and stamped "Sterling" on the inside.
