Delphanita Calabaza is known for her choker necklaces and earrings made with handmade fine heishi of various materials.

These are classic double loop heishi earrings in the banded patterns so common to Santo Domingo jewelry. Delphanita strung these as relatively long loops (much longer than the heishi loop earrings of Ramona Bird). The loops come together at Sterling cones and this pair is suspended from Sterling hooks.
