This stunning thunderbird bracelet by Delbert Gordon employs an appliquée which forms the body of the bird while beautifully deep stampwork completes the wings of this thunderbird. The subtlety of the stampwork, executed in many places like shading in a pencil drawing, shows the superior smithing skills of Delbert when he undertakes such designs which bring out his passion. Note the careful dimpling along the edges of this cuff, as well as the delicate hairline cold chisel work which marks the body of the appliquée portion of the thunderbird. Repoussée starred buttons mark the sides of the cuff at the wingtips and classic stampwork geometric motifs decorate the cuff near the terminals.
Hallmarked with a large capital D with a spur extending from it and Gordon in smaller letters beneath surrounded by a trailing banner. Also stamped Sterling inside.
