Born in Fort Defiance, Arizona in 1955, Delbert Gordon grew up in Tohatchi, New Mexico. He is a self-taught silversmith and occasionally works with gold. He has been instrumental in teaching many youngsters the craft, most notably his nephew Derrick Gordon whose rings and bracelets appear alongside his uncle's on this website.

This scalloped-edged bracelet holds a richly webbed free-form stone of natural, untreated Number Eight turquoise from Nevada. The stone is set in a straight-edged bezel wrapped with twist wire. Fanned scallop appliquées frame the stone to left and right and seem tacked to the cuff by starred buttons. Four raindrops mark the intermediate directions around the stone. An oxidizing agent was rubbed into the stampwork and then the bracelet was lightly buffed, leaving the indentation of the stampwork darkened and more pronounced in comparison to the soft matte finish of the cuff.

Hallmarked with a large capital "D" with a spur extending from it and "Gordon" in smaller letters beneath surrounded by a trailing banner. Also stamped "Sterling" inside.
