This gorgeous, traditional-style buckle represents a stylized butterfly with wonderfully domed wings and repoussée long ovals marking the four directions. Corn stalks grow from the stone of Broken Arrow Variscite as though it were some great, large germinated seed. Herringbone stampwork beautifully defines the wings. This is ever-so-softly oxidized so that the silver emits a dull glow. The style of this design places it several decades in the past, though it was made in late autumn 2006.
