Chacodog has been offering Navajo silversmith Darryl Becenti's pieces since 2003. Darryl is painstaking about the precision of his stampwork and he has a particularly good eye for combinations of stamps and innovating new designs which are wholly traditional in their inspiration. This slimline bracelet is set with an oval of deep purple Sugilite. Convex fanned scallop appliquées, starred buttons and raindrops decorate the stone to left and right, while grooved stampwork decorates the edges of the cuff and arrows in flight mark the equatorial center of the cuff to the terminals.
Hallmarked with a "D" on its side over an arrow and stamped "Sterling" on back. Stone: 11/16" x 1/2" Uniform width of cuff: 7/16" Terminal to terminal: 6" Gap: 1 1/4" Total inside circumference (including gap): 7 1/4" See our entire collection of Sugilite! |
