Darryl Becenti is an accomplished Navajo silversmith who is particularly good at combining various stamps to produce complex, evocative stampwork designs. When setting turquoise in his jewelry, he always uses fine, natural stones.
This classically traditional stamped Sterling bracelet combines the textural elements of deep stampwork with raised repousséeovals encircling the cuff. The cuff displays a mattefinish with the stampwork more deeply oxidized than the smooth surfaces. Made from 12-gauge Sterling, this piece has nice weight and perfectly displays the compositional skills and technical expertise for which Darryl is so well-known.
