Chacodog has been offering Darryl Becenti's pieces since 2003; initially this repertoire consisted of rings, deeply-stamped bracelets without stones and pendants with primo turquoise. Darryl is painstaking about the precision of his stampwork and he has a particularly good eye for combinations of stamps. This heavily-textured cuff is reminiscent of Darry's large pendants which have edges studded with starred buttons of this same style (see Darryl's pendants). At the center, a free-form stone of rich blue natural Royston turquoise sets the tone for this piece. Flanking the center stone, Darryl used two near-ovals of Turquoise Mountain turquoise which perfectly match the shade of blue in his center stone. Teardrops, rounds and small ovals of natural Royston turquoise complete this grouping of stones, while raindrops and starred buttons punctuate the rich wrap of stones. The stampwork is deep and exquisitely traditonal. Note on Sizing: This piece has good heft and should not be worn too loosely on the wrist. Because of its wide width, it will best fit someone who normally wears a size 6" bracelet, in spite of its measured size of 6 1/8". Hallmarked with a capital "D" over an arrow in flight and stamped "Sterling" inside.
