Darryl Becenti is an accomplished Navajo silversmith who is particularly good at combining various stamps to produce complex, evocative stampwork designs. When setting turquoise in his jewelry, he always uses fine, natural stones.
Set with a gorgeous egg-shaped stone of natural, untreated Royston turquoise from Nevada, this is a piece that will draw non-stop compliments for the sheer beauty of the stone. Add to this Darryl's deep stampwork and textured decorative elements of starred buttons, raindrops and small, cut-out, domed appliquées which frame the stone. This large, thick, glassy smooth stone is set in a 3/16" bezel which is wrapped with twist wire.
Hallmarked D. Becenti over an arrow in flight and stamped Sterling inside.
