Chacodog has been offering Darryl Becenti's pieces since 2003; initially this repertoire consisted of rings, deeply-stamped bracelets without stones and pendants with primo turquoise. Darryl is painstaking about the precision of his stampwork and he has a particularly good eye for combinations of stamps.
This hefty, graduated row bracelet features five large ovals of purple spiny oyster. The large center oval ranges from white to pale yellow to the rich purple of Welch's grape juice. Interspersed between the large ovals, eight rounds of purple spiny oyster add pizzazz to the composition. Starred buttons and raindrops outline the shape of this graduated row and large, impeccably detailed, stamped appliquées frame the row to left and right. Bands of deeply-stamped motifsencircle the cuff, while minutely detailed stamps highlight the sculpted edges of the cuff. Though most of the stampwork is hidden by the large settings of spiny oyster, each of these designs and motifs is fully stamped on the whole cuff. Too good to be replicated!
