Darryl Becenti is an accomplished Navajo silversmith who is particularly good at combining various stamps to produce complex, evocative stampwork designs. When setting turquoise in his jewelry, he always uses fine, natural stones.

This is a beautifully textured and oxidized Sterling silver sculpted-edge barrette set with a teardrop of natural, untreated Broken Arrow Variscite and decorated by starred buttons, perfect stampwork and "bumped up" shapes. This has the classic French-made pressure hinge barrette clip on back.

Hallmarked with a capital "D" tilted on its side and stamped "Sterling" on back.
