This is a bracelet which shows off the silversmithing skills of Darrel Cadman and clearly illustrates his superior craftsmanship. He set a perfect oval of natural, untreated Kingman "Birdseye" turquoise in a smooth bezel which is highlighted by stylized eagle feathers which radiate from the stone. This bracelet is an example of Darrel's fondness for using several decorative details to create a rich composition of textural delight. He's used repoussée motifs through his stylized eagle feathers and the crescents which mark the edges above and below the stone, as well as starred buttons, raindrops, twisted square wire scrollwork and appliquée arrows and arrowheads. This is a bracelet for the sophisticated collector who cares intensely about the expertise of silversmithing present in a work and seeks the finest quality of natural turquoise.
