This oval buckle has all the classic details of fine silversmithing. Darrel defined the oval's outside edge with an undulating scallop cut and laid his stamps in perfect symmetrical banded ovals around the bright blue stone of natural Candelaria turquoise from Nevada. In keeping with classic design, the buckle is domed. The stone is set in a straight-edged bezel wrapped with twist wire. Frankly, our photos don't do this stone justice--it is an eye-popping blue of archetypal Candelaria coloration.
Hallmarked "D. Cadman" and stamped "Sterling" with a ram's head on back.

Standard-width western belts can be either 1 3/8" wide or 1 1/2" wide.
This piece can take either size. When buying a belt to mount your new buckle,
the appropriate length is 2" larger than your measured waist size (if you have a 30" waist,
buy a 32" belt). Many of our clients don't have a western wear store close to them.
