Wild Horse is the marketing name given to this stone. Magnesite is a calcite, closely related to dolomite and gorgeous in its marbling. Often referred to as Wild Horse "Turquoise," it is not at all related to turquoise in its composition. We think it's pretty enough as a stone to stand on its own without erroneous information attached to it.
Brushed, hollow Sterling buttons anchor the posts of these drop earrings. Fixed jump rings attached to the button and to the top of the drop allow these creamy "chocolate sundae" ovals to swing freely with the body's movements. The stones are set in fine-tooth serrated bezels wrapped with twist wire with raindrops accenting the middle of the drop. Luxurious....
Hallmarked "C.MTZ" inside an arrowhead and stamped "Sterling" on the back of each drop.
