We've bought several of bracelets from Calvin done in this style; one central stone with a slightly convex and mostly uniform-width cuff showing wonderful motif-oriented stampwork. Never, never does he repeat the same stampwork on one of these bracelets! This uniform-width cuff holds a vivid blue oval of natural, untreated Blue Ridge turquoise from China.
This turquoise is natural, untreated stone from China which is sold under the trade name "Blue Ridge" and is not to be confused with the Blue Ridge Turquoise Mine in Lander County, Nevada which is also the source of Orvil Jack turquoise. The stone is set in a wide, straight-edged bezel. Deep, deep stampwork motifs decorate the sides of the cuff to the terminals. No other Navajo smith stamps like this; it defies simple classification.
Hallmarked "C.MTZ" inside an arrowhead and stamped "Sterling" inside.
