This over-sized Four Directions cross pendant is domed and exquisitely stamped. Arnold set a large, thick oval of rich blue natural, untreated Kingman turquoise in the center of this. This pendant attests to the intersection between southwestern native cultures and the Spanish missions which have long co-existed alongside the native people of New Mexico. Arnold gave this a lightly brushed finish and added a slight patina to the silver using an oxidizing agent. This is the sort of thing we're always on the hunt to find. Pair this with a strand of Erma Arviso's antiqued Sterling beads of 12 mm. diameter (see below).
Hallmarked BLKGT and stamped Sterling on the back of pendant.
