Navajo silversmith Alvin Lee learned to smith silver from his uncle Albert Jake. Most of the designs he makes are like those of his uncle Albert.
This ring is set with a free-form stone of natural, untreated Broken Arrow Variscite from Nevada. This is a classic design of Albert Jake (which he has also taught to and allowed his nephew Alvin Lee to re-create). The stone is set in a straight-edged bezel wrapped with twist wire. The shank is split into four narrower bands before attaching to the ring back and he used radiating stampwork in the shape of a triangle to decorate the sides of the shank.
Hallmarked "A" and stamped "Sterling" inside the shank.
