Albert James Brown is a young Navajo silversmith in his late twenties. He works in the Traditional Revival style making pieces of jewelry both from sheet silver and from hand-carved sandcast molds.
This classic belt buckle is a sandcast piece with additional stampwork added after the casting process. He set a long oval of green Chinese turquoise flanked by matching rounds in serrated bezels at the center of the buckle. This is made to fit a standard-width western belt.
Hallmarked "AJB" and stamped Sterling on back.
