Albert Jake was born in 1959 at Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. He has been smithing silver for over fifteen years. Albert is renowned for the precise detail and execution of his work and for the fine natural stones which he always employs in his pieces.
Deep-stamped with seven horizontal grooved bands and decorated with nine Four Corners Cross appliquées which "stairstep" across the slightly convex surface of this cuff, the stampwork of this bracelet is oxidized to make a nice contrast between the buffed silver surfaces and the recessed, deep stampwork. A simple, classic Southwestern design.
