Navajo silversmith Albert Jake was born in 1959 at Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. He has been smithing silver for over twenty years. Albert is renowned for the precise detail and execution of his work and for the fine natural stones which he always employs in his pieces. This pendant features a gorgeous "watermarked" stone of natural, untreated Royston turquoise from Nevada. Complementary stampwork highlights the sculpted edge of the pendant. Erma Arviso's Sterling beads of 8 mm. diameter are just right with this. Hallmarked "A JAKE" and stamped "Sterling" on back. Stone: 1 1/16" x 3/4" Dimensions of pendant (excluding bale & jump ring): 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" Total hang (including bale): 2 7/16" |
