This is a classic Sterling barrette with vertical, ribbed stamping along its top and bottom edges. Seven deep crimson ovals of natural Mediterranean red coral are set in horizontal orientation with raindrops interspersed between the coral sets. This is the size barrette which is used to gather a portion of the hair in back and highlight this gathered hair streaming down the center of the back. This has the classic French-made pressure hinge barrette clip on back.

Stamped "Sterling" on back. Albert's hallmark is hidden beneath the barrette mechanism.
