Navajo silversmith Albert Jake was born in 1959. He has been smithing silver since the mid-1980's. Albert is renowned for the precise detail and execution of his work and for the fine natural stones which he always employs in his pieces.
This is Albert Jake at his ring making best using a long oval of natural, untreated Ithaca Peak turquoise from Arizona set in a very solid mount decorated by appliquées. The stone is set in a 3/16"-wide smooth bezel wrapped with twist wire. The stone is a very pretty blue with gray matrix. Impeccably made with a superb stone!
Hallmarked A.JAKE and stamped STERLING inside the shank.
